It’s been a strong couple of months for Xerox, springing headlong into 2018 with a number of sought-after accolades in business areas, including ethics, CSR, and environmental impact, as well as recognition for the products themselves.
In February, the Ethisphere Institute, one of the global leaders in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, named Xerox as one of the 2018 World’s Most Ethical Companies for the thirteenth year in a row. Xerox was only one of two honorees in the Information Technology Services industry, showing their dedication to measuring and improving culture, leading authentically, and committing to transparency, diversity, and inclusion.
Later that same month, the company was also named a 2018 Top 100 Global Technology Leader by Thomson Reuters. Again, this was not the first time that Xerox had received this honour, having been recognised as such for the previous six years (although the award was previously named Top 100 Global Innovators). This particular recognition, given to only 100 from a list of 5,000, analysed financial performance, management and investor confidence, risk and resilience, legal compliance, innovation, people and social responsibility, environmental impact, and reputation. Xerox was highlighted in particular for leadership in patent generation, corporate social responsibility, and environmental impact.
To round off Q1’s accomplishments, only last month, the company swept a series of 2018 Buyer’s Lab Inc. (BLI) awards, winning 13 of the 34 BLI awards for MFPs and printers in 2018. These included BLI 2018 Monochrome Printer & MFP Line of the Year, BLI Best Document Imaging Software Solutions for Xerox App Gallery, BLI Awards for Exceptional Monochrome Printers and MFPs and BLI Awards for Exceptional Copier MFPs, as well as Outstanding MFP App Ecosystem for it’s unique Xerox ecosystem.
