It’s been a busy month for us again, but as we all know, hard work pays off! It was a particularly successful week at the Gulf Print & Pack exhibition in Dubai World Trade Centre, where we sold the first Xerox CP1000i with metallic gold and silver inks in the UAE to Logical Signage.
This high definition device can print over 6000 sheets per hour on material of a thickness up to 350gm. A four-colour press, it provides outstanding quality and detail with a smooth continual surface, but it is the effects that really make this printer unique.
Creativity through printing
The clear dry ink allows for much more creative expression, enabling striking metallic and pearlescent effects, real flesh tones and personalization.
These special effects along with spot UV and varnish, and beautifully clean watermarks add high impact value to documents, creating new dimensions through flooding, spotting and textures. Flooding photos with Clear Dry ink really brings them to life – perfect for the increasingly popular photo books.
The addition of metallic gold and silver inks provides many more opportunities for users who can now create silver and gold effects themselves, particularly useful for logos, text, seals, and personalised communications. Metallic effects can be used to highlight logos or graphical elements, or to make communications eye catching, meanwhile metallic overlays can also enhance the look of photos and collateral.
Energy efficiency
The CP1000i runs on new technology, efficiently transferring energy through an inline belt fusing system. Once fused, the new inline cooling module eliminates blocking and provides outstanding stack quality.
